IBELIEVEICANFLY earned this step into Listed company by winning a Curragh maiden before finishing fourth, beaten only one and a quarter lengths, in a Group 2 over the same seven-furlong trip. She was unable to quicken with the leaders that day but kept on, an effort that reads better than the finishing position. Stall one gives Ryan Moore a chance to save ground, and she has already handled both good and soft conditions.
Timeless Tale is the next best at 15/8 after stretching clear on her Naas debut. She owns the highest internal performance figure, but the move from a maiden into a Listed race after one start is fully reflected in the price. Ibelieveicanfly offers the more established pattern-race evidence at 7/2.

COLLECTING COIN won over seven furlongs at Chester in July and lost little in defeat when second there four weeks later. He was held up before making his challenge on both occasions, so the traffic of an eighteen-runner field should be manageable if William Lee can obtain cover. The handicapper has raised him, but his current form is stronger than that of several exposed rivals near the head of the weights.
Dorset is the next best at 16/1 because his Group-race programme gives him a substantial class drop into a handicap. He remains winless and inconsistent, which prevents him becoming the main bet. Collecting Coin is less spectacular but more dependable, and 13/2 represents a fair price for that consistency.

QUEST FOR STARS has progressed rapidly through three successive wins, culminating in a Listed success at Salisbury. He made the running there, quickened two furlongs out and kept finding under pressure, the sort of uncomplicated style that can be valuable in a juvenile Group 1. The bare ratings leave him with improvement to find, but the winning sequence and 5/1 price provide room for another step forward.
Darkness Falls is the next best at 7/4 after winning decisively at the Curragh on his second start. Ryan Moore rides and the colt has obvious potential, but he is priced as though the jump into this level will be seamless. Quest For Stars brings more racecraft and a clearer value margin.

GREEN IMPACT was beaten only a short head in a Leopardstown Group 3 over twelve furlongs last month, travelling close to the pace and fighting all the way to the line. He had already won at this course and has competed at Group 1 level, so neither the track nor the grade is an unknown. The return to ten furlongs asks for more speed, but his tactical position and recent fitness can offset that concern.
Purview is the next best at 6/4 after three consecutive wins, the latest a dominant Curragh Group 3. He is the one to beat on progression, yet this is his first run for 76 days and the price offers little protection. Green Impact is match-fit, course-proven and available at 6/1.

FALLEN ANGEL won this race last year and later added another Group 1 at Newmarket, making her the only runner with proven Matron Stakes form. Her latest Listed third at Haydock was below her best, but it came after a break and should have advanced her fitness. James Doyle can keep her within range of the pace, and rain would not undermine her chance.
Blue Bolt is the next best at 10/11 after four consecutive victories, most recently at Group 1 level in Deauville. She is the most progressive runner, but odds-on leaves no margin for a first visit to Leopardstown against established older fillies. Fallen Angel is not the safest choice, yet 10/1 with three places rewards the risk.

ALMAQAM has assembled an exceptional ten-furlong sequence, winning the Tattersalls Gold Cup, finishing fourth at Ascot and missing by only a short head in the Juddmonte International at York. Constitution River was behind him in third there, so the 5/1 about Almaqam looks generous beside the favourite's 6/4. His performance figure of 130 leads this field, and the trip is firmly in his favour.
Constitution River is the next best at 6/4 after three consecutive Group 1 wins before York. He remains the chief danger and may improve again, but the latest head-to-head evidence favours Almaqam. Kieran Shoemark can ride the selection for a late challenge in the race of the day.
