An each-way multiple contains one win accumulator and one place accumulator. The entered stake is applied to each part, so a £2 each-way accumulator has a total outlay of £4.

The win part needs every active selection to win. The place part can continue when every active selection either wins or qualifies for a place. Each leg uses its own place fraction, and a void leg normally contributes a decimal factor of 1.00, subject to the operator's rules.

Do not treat a return as profit

A place-only return can be smaller than the combined outlay. Compare the total return with both stakes.

For single each-way bets, use the each-way bet calculator. The each-way guide explains place terms and settlement in more detail.
